Galaxy Cluster in Pisces The constellation Pisces contains several interesting galaxy clusters including this one, about 620 million light years away. A close look at this image reveals many tiny galaxies scattered througout the field, but what I find interesting is the dense center of the cluster, which includes the two largest galaxies (IC 1634 and IC 1635). If you look at the larger versions of this image, you will see that these two galaxies are surrounded by more than a dozen nearby but smaller galaxies.
Image details: 100 exposures of 120 seconds each (3.3 hours total), taken with a ZWO ASI2600MC Pro imager and a 14" Meade LX850 telescope at f/5.6.
