Triple Star in Cygnus Many years ago, someone showed me this triple star while we were standing in line to look through a telescope at the Stellafane convention in Springfield VT. He said it was a good target for binoculars, and he lent me his binoculars to take a look. It was a beautiful sight, and so easy to find. The three stars have a nice variety of colors. The brightest star is orange, its close companion is blue, and the more distant companion looks white. These three stars are not physically related but just happen to be in the same line of sight. Image details: 20 exposures of 1 second each, taken with a ZWO ASI2600MC Pro imager and a 14" Meade LX850 telescope at f/5.6. July 2025
